Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days

The book ends with:

A few weeks later, one of his classmates came to school with a stalk of broccoli dangling from her neck. A perfect person might have given her a few words of helpful advice.

Not Milo. He just took a bite of his garlic-and-stinky-cheese sandwich and wiped up the mustard that dribbled down his chin. He didn’t say a word.

Why do you think Milo didn’t say anything to the girl who came in wearing the broccoli?

    I think that Milo did’nt tell the girl that was wearing a stalk of broccoli dangling down her neck because he wanted her to find out by her self and realize by herself that being perfect is boring.

    I think that Milo didn’t tell the girl who was wearing broccoli anything because he wants her to figure it out herself.
    Nobody’s perfect….everybody makes mistakes.

    I think Milo didn’t tell the girl anything because I think Milo wanted the girl to figure it out by herself.

    I think Milo didn’t tell the girl advice because it would be spoiled and Milo wants her to figure it out her self.

    Great thinking, kids! I love the idea that Milo didn’t give the girl advice because he wanted her to figure it out for herself. Do you think people learn better when they figure things out for themselves?

    Mr. Sklar i think your totally right, because if you let them find out by them selves they could learn more and actully try being perfect, because it’s also good to try you should never give up.

    I think milo didnt give her advice because he might want it to be a surprise for her or maybe he just does not want to get into it again.

    I think Milo didn’t tell the girl that had a stalk of broccoli around her neck anything because he probally what her to figure that nobody is perfect, that you can learn from your mistakes, if you don’t make mistakes life would be tough and also that mistakes is part of life.

    I think Milo didn’t tell the girl that was wearing broccoli around her neck was because he wanted her to find out by herself that no person can be perfect and everyone makes mistakes. And also that he wanted her to find out that beimg perfect and never messing up means that you are so boring and it is not so much fun being just perfect.

    I think Milo didn’t say anything to the girl who was wearing brocoli because he probably knows that nobody’s perfect and soon the girl will get bored and won’t want to be perfect any more.

    I think Milo didn’t tell the because he wanted her to find out her self. The reson that he didn’t tell her is becaese he isn’t perfect.

    I think Milo did not want to say anything to the girl wearing a stalk of broccoli around her neck so that she can realize that it’s okay to be messy sometimes. She doesn’t have to be a perfect person for everyone to like her. You can only learn from your mistakes.

    I think that milo did not tell the girl with the broccli because at the end of the book it says that milo is perfect. But it says that being perfect is boring. And he thinks that it’s boring to just say itse sould find out for herself.

    I think milo did not want to tell the girl so she will understand not to do it ever because she will figure it out her self.
